Native Plants

In the summer of 2011, as a WISE student, I completed a research project pertaining to nutrient concentrations in storm water runoff. Specifically, I analyzed how Ohio native plants affected the concentrations.

Varying Organics

Following my experience as a WISE student, I chose to continue on in the Buffam Lab as an undergraduate researcher.

I applied in Spring of 2012 for a UC Undergraduate Research Fellowship, which I was granted for Summer 2012. I chose to design and analyze a green roof plot experiment to determine how varying organic matter can affect storm water runoff. See the poster I presented at the 2012 Cities Alive Conference in Chicago, IL.
